WLT Photography: LA Without Cars

Brooks Institute of Photography student Tom Baker has put together a photo series of Los Angeles, without cars. Baker is an avid traveler who has been through Europe, South America, Asia and North America and has lived in both Brazil and London.

I'm jealous.

  1. You know, I don't expect that LA can ever be super cool with a center this dead. If you want pics like these, a glimpse of post-apocalypse LA, just move downtown or wander around after business hours. It's creepy.

  2. Chels: It's true. LA wouldn't be the same without all those cars bumpin and grindin, but when I'm on the 405 at 6pm it's sure nice to dream!

Lauren: Wow. So cool! What's this from?
